In order to thoroughly implement the spirit of the Ministry of Education’s “Notice on the Employment and Entrepreneurship Work for the 2025 Graduates of Regular Higher Education Institutions,” further deepen the integration of industry and education, and promote the high-quality development of talent cultivation and employment within the School of Artificial Intelligence, the school actively carried out company visits and job market expansion efforts during the summer break.
The school successively visited employers including Shenzhen BYD Co., Ltd. and ZTE Corporation. During the visit to BYD, the delegation gained a comprehensive understanding of BYD’s latest achievements in areas such as new energy vehicles and electronic information through a tour of the exhibition hall. At the symposium, Xu Yunlong, Recruitment Director of the Group’s Human Resources Department, provided a detailed overview of the company’s campus recruitment situation, talent training programs, and career development paths for graduates, elaborating on the specific requirements for graduates’ various qualities in campus recruitment.
Zhang Xiaohong, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School, expressed gratitude for the company’s meticulous arrangements and expressed hope for establishing a new phase of comprehensive university-enterprise cooperation in the future. Yang Kehu, Dean of the School, provided a detailed introduction to the School’s talent cultivation efforts and a series of scientific research achievements in the field of artificial intelligence. Both parties reached preliminary cooperation intentions regarding joint talent training and technological collaboration. Alumni including Shang Xuyuan (Class of 2015), Bo Lei (Class of 2024), and Yang Shuo (Class of 2024) participated in the symposium.

During the visit to ZTE, the delegation toured the ZTE Museum, learning about ZTE’s 40-year development history and its major achievements and latest products in communication technology and artificial intelligence. Hu Zhiqiang, Deputy Head of the Compliance Organization Management Department at ZTE, introduced the overall situation of the company during the symposium. Zhang Shuqi, Campus Recruitment Supervisor, provided a detailed overview of the company’s talent recruitment situation. Both parties reached a consensus on further strengthening university-enterprise cooperation and jointly cultivating talent in next-generation information technology.

This company visit and job market expansion initiative further strengthened the ties between the school and employers, expanded the graduate employment market, clarified the industry’s demand for new technical talent, and laid a solid foundation for the school’s talent cultivation and employment efforts.
