Yaqin Wu, Ph.D., Full Professor, Doctoral Supervisor. She has long been engaged in teaching and research related to computer science and wireless communication and was a visiting scholar at Curtin University, Australia.

Research Interests:Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Time Series Forecasting, Internet of Things (IoT), wireless communication, etc.

Education:She received Bachelor's and Master's degrees from China University of Mining and Technology (CUMT), and Ph.D. from China University of Mining and Technology, Beijing (CUMTB).

Work Experience:She taught at the School of Computer Science and Technology, CUMT before 2009. Since 2009, she has been teaching at the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering and later at the School of Artificial Intelligence, CUMTB.

She led and participated in over 10 national and provincial-level research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation General Projects, Key Projects, National Key R&D Program projects, and Jiangsu Provincial Natural Science Foundation projects. She supervised and contributed to multiple industry-academia collaborative projects.She awarded two first-class and eight second-class provincial/ministerial-level scientific and technological prizes. She holds multiple national invention patents and over 10 software copyrights. She received three National Coal Education Outstanding Achievement Awards, along with several university-level teaching excellence awards and outstanding teaching quality awards. She published over 30 academic papers, including more than 10 indexed by SCI and EI. She authored, co-authored, or edited six academic books and textbooks. She recognized as a university-level "Outstanding Young Faculty Member" and "Top Ten Young Faculty and Staff."
