Hi there! This is Dr. JIAO Libin!

I received my B.S. degree in computer science and technology and my Ph.D. degree in computer software and theory from Beijing Normal University, Beijing, China, in 2014 and 2019, respectively. From January to June 2017, I was a visiting scholar with Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. From 2019 to 2021, I was a postdoctoral research fellow with the Aerospace Information Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Sciences.

I am currently an associate professor with the Department of Computer Science and Technology, School of Artificial Intelligence, China University of Mining and Technology - Beijing, Beijing, China. My research interests include machine learning, data mining, and computer vision.

To Be Updated

- In this research, we focus on the efficiency and boundary-awareness for objects of interest in high-resolution images.

- Multiple solutions, built on approximate algorithms, GPU deployment, and multi-thread implementations for CRF inference, have been tried and give rise to significant boundary-awareness and efficiency gain.

- This has been applied to cloud/shadow detection in high-resolution remote sensing images.

- Source codes and experimental illustrations are publicly available at
